ABOUT MOSAIC WEST SEATTLE
OUR VISION
At Mosaic West Seattle, we are part of the most amazing story in the world: the story of God redeeming all of humankind through the ministry of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and offered through the Church, "the fullness of Him who fills all in all" (Ephesians 1:23).
Throughout the New Testament, we see followers of Jesus from drastically different backgrounds, with unique, Spirit-empowered gifts, come together to form a mature, healthy expression of the family of God.
Our name, Mosaic, expresses this very desire. Each person who calls Mosaic West Seattle home is broken in unique ways, each from different backgrounds, and each with an essential, Spirit-empowered gift to bring our church into maturity.
OUR STORY
In the summer of 2025, a small group of people were commissioned from the Mosaic Family of Churches with a dream to see Jesus bring His kingdom of healing, liberating love to our community. We come from different stations in life and different communities throughout West Seattle, but with one common goal: to love God, love people and change the world. You can expect to feel family love and to be challenged to live more whole-heartedly in light of God's love.
Dennis and Tammy Luong had been part of the early years of Mosaic Meadowdale, but felt called to move to Boston to participate in what God was doing in our extended family of churches through Antioch New England.
However, they felt the Lord call them back to Seattle, where they both grew up north of Seattle, so they could begin the process of leading a group of people to officially plant Mosaic Community Church West Seattle.
We are so excited for what God is doing in the region and expectant that He wants to build His church.
OUR LEADERS
Dennis and Tammy Luong
Mosaic West Seattle is governed by a local Senior Leadership Board (SLB) made up of trusted members of the church as well as an Advisory Board made up of members from across the Antioch Movement of churches who specifically oversee the lead pastor.
Dennis and Tammy have been married for 10 years, and have three kids: EJ (6) August (3) and Luna (1).
